Are you in control of the breathe in your lungs? Are you making your heart beat? It is God who gives me life. Its God who wakes me up every morning. I’m bought w/ a price and grace sustains me. Why do I think I’m so great? In 100 years the world will not know my name. I live for someone bigger. I love because Christ loved me and gave himself for me.

So right now it is about 3 a.m. and I have a lot going on in my heart. I have been going back and forth with this for a long time but I realize that I Can’t Not share this with you If I truly care about you…If I truly believe what I say I do. This might turn some people off to me but I don’t care. I hope you see that this it is out of love that I MUST share this with you. If you call me a friend I would ask you to read this. Even if you don’t believe anything I say or believe I ask please read this anyways. At least take time to see what I am about. I am merely sharing my heart and hope that is does something to yours.
I don’t really know where to start but I’m just going to go for it. I am sorry if I get my thoughts mixed up.
Most people would say I am a “christian.” Until recently I haven’t walked out what I truly say I believe and I see most “christians” don’t. Because of this I do not like being labeled a christian. There are way too many hypocrites out there and I was one of them for most of my life. I don’t believe in religion. I believe in love. The bible says God is love. Everyone wants love. Therefore I believe that deep down everyone desires God. Not the one religion or the church portrays, but the real God who is LOVE.
They might not believe in God, but that doesn’t change the fact that he exists. ( you can see proof of a watchmaker by seeing a watch, so you see the proof of a creater; God by the proof of creation). Someone might not believe in love but it exists and I still cannot find anyone who doesn’t truly desire it.
Most people seem to believe that God sends people to hell because they do not believe in him. And if God is so good and loving how and why could he do this??
Well God doesn’t send people to hell because they don’t believe in him. That might be what the church teaches but thats not what God in the bible says. Let me explain…
God is good. God is Love. God created us so he could love us. God is good and holy. Perfect. Since he is good and loves SO much he must hate. Someone who is 100 % good must hate evil. The bible says we broke God’s standard. We have all sinned against God.
For a moment picture this: you are at the movies and the movie is interrupted and every shameful disgusting thing you have ever done is flashed up on the screen. It would be awful. I know I have lied, stolen, lusted after girls. Man that means I am a liar, thief and committed adultery in my heart by God’s standard. Well God hates what is evil because he is good. It only makes sense! I deserve punishemnt. I deserve Hell. Not because I don’t believe in God but because I have done evil. Sin is so serious in God’s eyes because he is so good.
Ok now most people are probably turned off by now…if you are still even reading. Wait though… there is good news. Love plays a huge part. ok it actually plays the whole part.
We deserve punishment. God can’t just forgive us and overlook our wrong. If he did this He would not be good. Just as a good judge can’t overlook a crime of a murderer. The murderer might have lived a good life and only killed one person. The judge still has to punish the crime. Same with us. We deserve punishment for violating God’s righteous standard.
So God came to the earth in human form and loved the world as Jesus Christ. He offered to take the punishment for us by dying on a tree. God’s anger at evil was taken out on Jesus.
NOTE: This is where love works. He didn’t have to do this! God would still be just as good, just and loving if he never sacrificed himself and we all went straight to hell right now. We deserve it! But because He LOVES YOU he did that. And not while we were doing good. He had in mind our most disgusting and perverted thing we have ever done.
He still loves. He loves you 100 percent. He cannot love you more or less than he does right now. And you can do nothing to change that because God is Love.
I am eternally Grateful for that. Because I sincerely believe this I must share this good news. I am not saying TURN OR BURN. What I am trying to show is how much God desires you. He is passionate about loving you. He isn’t this ogre in heaven looking down condemning you. But it is up to us to accept God’s free gift. We cannot earn it. God says to accept this gift and be saved the punishment we deserve we are to turn from sin and believe on Him. That is Grace. Getting something we don’t deserve.
When I realize the sacrifice he paid for me when he didn’t have to and how much he loves, I find it so hard to hurt him by doing wrong. I was bought with a price… and it is a lot more than a million dollars.
God loved me at my worst. I am called to love the world. He forgave me from everything and I am called to forgive as he forgave me. This isn’t a message of hate. It is of love. I don’t believe in religion. I am in love with Jesus because he loved me first and there is nothing that can change that.

P.S. One more thing. I want to apologize for the ones who call themselves a “christian” and act another. I apologize for some of the church who has spoke the message of the love of God and acted another way. I apologize for hypocrites. I do not apologize for Jesus though. He is everything good in me.
